On Monday, the tribunal heard call records and information recovered from phones documented Ms Wandelt repeatedly asking Madeleine's mother for a DNA test throughout the past two years.

Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - as a three-year-old during a trip in Portugal - is among the most publicized investigations and is still unsolved.

'I Don't Want Money'

One voicemail, played in court, captured Ms Wandelt stating: "I realize I'm fat and plain like Madeleine used to be, but I feel what I know."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's answerphone expressed: "Suppose there is a slight possibility that I am Madeleine? Then what? Isn't that crucial for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I possess a life here in Poland, I just want to know," the message continued.

The tribunal was told that via electronic messages, mobile messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a DNA test, forwarded childhood photos to her phone in a bid to demonstrate a resemblance to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and claimed to have "recollections" from a youth with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, an investigator with law enforcement who gathered the data, told the court there "showed no any replies" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore contacted family friends of the McCanns, as per the call data.

On that date, Gerry McCann responded to a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "the wrong phone."

That day Ms Wandelt deposited a message on Mrs McCann's answerphone declaring "I will persist and I will prove my point."

The court learned Mrs Spragg developed a association through digital means with Ms Wandelt before assisting her on a appearance to the McCanns' property in the county in last December.

Call logs demonstrated Mrs Spragg had communicated via communication app to Mrs McCann to say the media had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she should be considered genuine in the time leading up to the appearance to that location, that area, in December 2024.

The court was told message exchanges between the two accused, in that autumn, discussing attempting to obtain Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her bins or from cutlery at a dining venue.

"We have to take action," Mrs Spragg told Ms Wandelt.

On the evening of the appearance to their home, Mrs Spragg transmitted a text which said: "We find ourselves sat adjacent to the McCanns' home with our headlights off similar to private investigators. I had hoped to accomplish this with another person I didn't imagine I would be doing that with the McCanns."

The trial continues.
